The Itinerary

Day One

Arrive & Settle

Arrive at Le Mentok Wellness Resort, settle in, and begin to slow down. We’ll share our first meal together before gathering for an opening circle with intention setting, gentle pranayama and grounding. In the evening, we’ll ease into the retreat with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice, followed by dinner and rest.

Day Two

Movement & Connection

Begin the morning with meditation and slow Yin Yoga before enjoying breakfast together. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Petstok Village for a traditional Ladakhi lunch and a glimpse into local life. Back at the retreat, an evening Qigong practice will bring movement, breath and awareness together, followed by meditation, dinner and rest.

Day Three

Alchi & Monastery Visit

After morning meditation and Yin Yoga, we’ll leave Le Mentok and travel to Alchi. Following lunch at Alchi Kitchen, we’ll explore the ancient Alchi Monastery and have time to wander through the village, walk and browse local shops. As the day cools, we’ll practice Qigong beside the river before dinner, meditation and a quiet evening in Alchi.

Day four

Lamayuru & Inner Practice

Our morning begins with meditation and Yin Yoga before heading into the dramatic landscape of Lamayuru. We’ll visit Lamayuru Monastery and share lunch in the village, followed by spacious time to rest and integrate. In the afternoon, we’ll explore mindful touch and body awareness through a Thai Massage workshop, then close the day with Qigong, meditation and dinner.

Day five

Return & Closing

After our final morning practice in Alchi, we’ll return to Le Mentok for lunch and an unhurried afternoon of rest and integration. In the evening, we’ll gather for our closing circle — a space for reflection, sharing and gratitude as we consider what has shifted and what we’re carrying home. We’ll share one final dinner and evening together.

Day six

Departure

After breakfast, our retreat comes to a close. A final moment to say goodbye and carry the practices, experiences and connections from Ladakh back into everyday life.

about the facilitators

Gillian brings seven years of international teaching experience to her work as a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, Thai massage therapist, and mindfulness teacher. Drawing from yin yoga, yoga nidra, Hakomi somatic psychotherapy, and Buddhist wisdom, her sessions are unhurried and attuned, designed to help the body release what the mind has been holding.

Grey works at the intersection of movement, therapeutic bodywork, and meditation, guiding people toward greater resilience, embodied awareness, and inner clarity. He brings two decades of embodied practice in martial arts, bodywork, and Buddhist meditation. His sessions are grounded, precise, and transformative.

Together, they hold space with care, experience, and warmth.
