Lotus Restore Goa Retreat

December 4-7, 2026 South Goa, India Max 12 participants

Slow down. Breathe. Come back to yourself.

A long weekend in the lush landscape of South Goa, designed to help you step out of the pace of everyday life and into something slower.

The Practice

Our days are gently structured around practices that invite the body and mind to soften.

Morning Meditation

Begin each day with stillness. Our morning meditation practice creates space to arrive fully into the day with greater awareness, presence, and ease.

Yin Yoga

Slow, quiet, spacious movement to release tension and cultivate a deeper relationship with the body.

Tai Chi & Qigong

As the day cools, we’ll move through gentle Tai Chi and Qigong practices—cultivating groundedness, balance, and connection with the natural world.

Time in Nature

The river is at the heart of Jaali River Sanctuary. There will be time to kayak, walk, swim, explore, read, nap, receive a massage, or simply sit by the water.

There is no pressure to fill every moment.

your home for the weekend

Jaali River Sanctuary

Tucked into the quieter landscape of South Goa, Jaali River Sanctuary sits directly on the Talpona River, surrounded by tropical gardens, coconut palms, and water.

The property has just eleven thoughtfully designed cottages, each with its own private verandah and a close relationship with the surrounding landscape.

This is a place designed around slowness.

Wake to the river.
Spend the afternoon under the palms.
Take a kayak out onto the water.
Let the evening unfold without anywhere you need to be.

And when you want the ocean, the beach is just a 10 minute drive away.

The Itinerary

Day One

Arrive & Settle

You arrive at Jaali Riverfront Sanctuary throughout the afternoon and take time to settle into the property, your room, and the slower rhythm of the retreat. We’ll gather in the early evening for a welcome circle, orientation, and intention-setting, before moving into a restorative yoga nidra session. The day closes with a delicious dinner of local produce and evening meditation.

Day Two

The Art of Slowing Down

Mornings open with meditation and yin yoga, followed by unstructured time to rest, kayak, or receive a massage at the spa. After lunch, the afternoon includes relaxing and swimming at beach, followed by sunset qi gong. The day closes with a beautiful dinner at Jaali Riverfront and evening meditation.

Day Three

Deepen & Integrate

The day begins with meditation and a slow, embodied yin yoga practice, followed by breakfast and time in nature and space to simply be. After lunch, the afternoon is yours with time for swimming, kayaking, treatments, reading, or rest. We’ll gather at sunset for qigong, a closing circle, and a final dinner together.

Day four

Carry It With You

Our final morning beings quietly with meditation and breakfast. After breakfast, we’ll say our goodbyes and depart feeling rested, nourished, and spacious.
