Course Overview

This Foundation Training offers a complete immersion into the art of traditional Thai Yoga Massage as an embodied, meditative, and relational practice.

Through progressive, hands-on learning, you will develop the skills, sensitivity, and confidence to offer a complete 60-minute full-body session.

This training follows a relaxation-based, non-clinical approach, emphasizing presence, fluidity, and mindful touch.

Each level consists of 10 days | 60 hours of integrated training.

Level 1 – Foundation

10 Days | 60 Hours

Level 1 establishes the essential principles and techniques of Thai Yoga Massage, with a focus on developing sensitivity and skillful use of the hands.

You will learn:

•⁠ ⁠Foundations, history, and principles of Thai Yoga Massage

•⁠ ⁠Meditation to cultivate presence and practitioner awareness

•⁠ ⁠Functional anatomy, body alignment, and safe practice

•⁠ ⁠Efficient body mechanics for sustainable bodywork

•⁠ ⁠Sen line acupressure on feet, legs, hands, arms, abdomen, chest, and spine

•⁠ ⁠Techniques using hands: (Compression, Traction, Rocking, Joint mobilization, Assisted stretching)

•⁠ ⁠Abdominal and chest work

•⁠ ⁠Practice in supine, prone, side-lying, and seated positions

•⁠ ⁠How to structure and deliver a complete 60-minute full-body session

Upon completion, participants are qualified to offer a full Thai Yoga Massage using the hands.

Level 2 – Integration

10 Days | 60 Hours

Level 2 expands the Level 1 foundation, introducing the use of elbows, knees, and feet as tools for massage, and deepening technical precision, efficiency, and energetic understanding.

You will learn:

•⁠ ⁠Refinement of sensitivity, flow, and effortless body mechanics

•⁠ ⁠Integration of elbows, knees, and feet for skillful compression

•⁠ ⁠Advanced traction, rocking, mobilisation, and assisted stretching

•⁠ ⁠Expanded Sen line work and energetic application

•⁠ ⁠Understanding and applying the Five Elements theory

•⁠ ⁠Improved transitions, rhythm, and continuity

•⁠ ⁠Greater efficiency, depth, and adaptability in full-body sessions

Upon completion, participants are qualified to offer a complete integrated Thai Yoga Massage using hands, elbows, knees, and feet.

Integrated Daily Practice

Each training day includes complementary practices to deepen embodied understanding:

•⁠ ⁠Qigong

•⁠ ⁠Yoga

•⁠ ⁠Contact Improvisation

•⁠ ⁠Meditation

There are no prerequisites for the foundation course. However, it should be noted that offering Thai Massage requires a certain level of flexibility and strength. Participants should be able to sit on their knees and put weight on their wrists and hands for a significant period of time.
